Installation Guide¶. This guide is for installing GenieACS on a single server on any Linux distro that uses systemd as its init system. New & Teen Drivers

You must be at least 16 years of age in order to get an original driver license in Oklahoma. In order to apply for an intermediate license, you must have held a learner permit for at least 6 months, have at least 50 hours of behind-the-wheel training, and pass a driving skills exam. To apply for a learner permit, you must be at least 15 and a half years of age and have passed or be currently enrolled in driver education, and pass a written exam. Alternatively, you can apply for a learner permit without taking driver education if you are at least 16 years of age. In order to get an unrestricted driver’s license, you must be at least 18 years of age and pass the written exam, driving test, and vision screening, or have held an intermediate license for at least 6 months.

New-to-State Drivers

New Oklahoma residents with a valid, non-expired out-of-state driver license, or a license from a US Territory, can obtain an Oklahoma driver license without taking a written exam or driving skills test. If the out-of-state license has expired, however, the applicant is required to take both a written exam and driving skills test.

Motorcycles

In order to operate a motor vehicle in Oklahoma, riders must have an “M” endorsement on their Oklahoma license. To obtain an M endorsement, applicants must pass a written exam and a drive test, although the drive test can be waived if you have completed a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course. After passing the written exam, applicants can opt to receive a motorcycle learner permit, which must be held for a minimum of 30 days before a drive test can be taken. Riders between the ages of 14 and 16 are required to take a basic riders course approved by the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety, hold a motorcycle learner permit for 30 days, and pass the basic law written exam in order to receive a motorcycle-only license.

To apply for a CDL in Oklahoma, applicants are required to pass both a written exam and a drive test.

How many questions are on the written test?

The daily 5guided reading 101. There are 50 questions on the test.

How many questions must you get right?

You must answer at least 40 questions correctly in order to pass.

If you fail when can you retake the test?

You can retake the test again in 1 day.

How many times can you retake the test?

There is no limit on the number of times you can retake the written test.

Who has to take the written test? Teens of what ages?

Anyone who is getting their driver’s license for the first time must pass the written test. Teens can take the test if they are at least 16 and ½ years old and have held an intermediary license for at least 6 months. If they’re under 18 years of age, they will also need parental consent.

Are you required to take the written test when renewing, and if so every time you renew or just sometimes? What are the conditions if just sometimes?

You do not have to retake the written test when you renew your license unless it has been expired for more than 1 years.

If you’re new to state are you required to take the written test?

If you hold a valid, unexpired driver’s license from another state then you are not required to take either part (written or on-road) of the driver’s examination. If your license has expired then you are required to take the written test.

Who has to take the behind the wheel / on-road driving test?

Anyone who is getting their driver’s license for the first time must pass both the written and driving tests. Additionally, you will also be required to re-pass both tests if your driver’s license has expired and you want to renew it.

How old must you be to take the written test?

You must be at least 15 and ½ years old before you can take the test. If you are under 18 years of age you must also have parental consent. Passing the written test will earn you your motorcycle learner’s permit, which you must hold for at least 30 days before you can take the on-road test.

How many questions are on the test?

There are 25 questions on the test.

How many must you get correct to pass?

You must answer at least 20 questions correctly in order to pass.

What are the permit restrictions for motorcycles?

You cannot drive on highways, drive during hours of darkness, or carry any passengers, you your motorcycle’s engine displacement cannot exceed 250cc. Motorcycle permit restrictions only apply to riders under the age of 16. Additionally, all permit holders must be supervised at all times by a licensed motorcyclist who is at least 21 years of age.

Do you need to take an on-road motorcycle driving test?

Yes, you are required to pass a practical on-road motorcycle skill test in order to get your motorcycle license. If you complete a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) approved course, then you will be able to waive the on-road test.

Are there any other state specific age requirements or restrictions for motorcycles?

Riders under the age of 16 have additional restrictions imposed upon their motorcycle learner’s permit, which are named above.

What is the helmet law is this state?

Any operator or passenger of a motorcycle who is under 18 is required to wear a protective helmet meeting state-approved safety standards at all times while operating or riding on the motorcycle.

Is there such a test in the state?

Yes; boaters of a certain age in Oklahoma are required to have a boating safety card and must complete a NASBLA approved boating education course. Boaters also have the option of taking an online safety course offered by sites such as Boat-Ed.com or BoatUS.org.

Who has to take the test?

All boaters between the ages of 12 and 15 must complete a certified boating safety course in order to operate a motorboat with more than 10 HP, a sailboat that is 16 feet or longer in length, or a personal watercraft on Oklahoma waterways.
